Who operates Barry
Barry is operated by Jordan Huynh, an individual based in California.
What we collect
We collect your account details, such as your name, email and profile image; workspace membership; boards, saves and the brands you track; and billing identifiers and subscription status. If you contact us, we store your name, email, company if supplied, message, and account identifier if you are signed in. If you join a signup list, such as the Black Friday board list, we store the details you submit and its delivery status. We also use an identifier derived from your network address to limit abusive submissions.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and secure Barry, manage accounts and workspaces, sync boards and saves, enable sharing, handle subscriptions, respond to requests, and deliver information you ask for. We also measure site use as described below. We do not sell your account information or use advertising cookies.
Service providers
Vercel hosts Barry and provides web analytics. Supabase provides account authentication, database and file storage. Stripe processes payments and provides subscription management; Barry stores billing identifiers and status rather than your full card details. Resend delivers email when email delivery is enabled. Information needed for support may also be handled in our email inbox. If you choose Google sign-in, Google processes that sign-in under its own privacy policy. These providers receive the information needed for their services.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure page views and product events, such as signup and checkout steps. It is designed to work without analytics cookies and uses information such as the page visited, referring site, approximate location, device and browser. Barry does not attach your account name or email to analytics events. Our analytics filter removes unapproved query parameters and URL fragments and replaces board share tokens in page addresses before reporting them. Campaign tags may be retained to measure how visitors found Barry.
Cookies and tracking choices
Barry uses cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other companies' websites for advertising. Barry does not currently change its analytics behavior in response to browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. We do not knowingly allow third parties to collect personal information through Barry for tracking your activity across unrelated websites for advertising. Browser privacy tools may block analytics independently.
Advertising creative
Barry indexes advertising creative and associated brand information from public advertising transparency libraries for competitive research. Creative may contain identifiable people. Public availability does not mean that an advertiser or person has endorsed Barry. We do not run facial recognition, create biometric templates or use the library to identify or track individual people. Where data protection law applies, the legal basis and rights available depend on the information and its use.
Workspace and share links
Your workspace information is available to its authorized members and the providers needed to operate Barry. A board you share by link is available to anyone holding that link. Anyone you send it to may forward it. Do not put confidential or personal information on a board you intend to share beyond its authorized audience.
Retention
We retain information for operating your account and workspace, handling requested deliveries and support, and meeting billing, security and legal needs. Retention depends on the type of information and the reason it is held; Barry does not currently provide a single automatic deletion schedule for all records. Deleting or closing an account may not remove records that must be retained for legal obligations, disputes or security, or copies held in backups until their retention period ends.
Your requests
To request access, correction or deletion of your information, or to object to creative featuring you, email legal@feedbarry.com or use our contact form. We may need to verify your identity and authority over workspace information. We review requests under applicable law and explain any limits that apply. Rights holders can also use our takedown process.
Changes to this policy
We post updates on this page and change its last-updated date. For material changes, we provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
